No, with some exceptions. I believe in system evolution to
maximize return
on money that you've already invested. There's no need to replace something just because its manufacturer no longer sells it. Instead, let's
focus precious funds on bottlenecks
. I can often find lightly-used hardware at deep discounts: some is junk; some offers incredible value.
